En conclusion de ma balade dominicale, le mieux serait peut-être de "contourner" la difficulté en ne traduisant pas "ramp" ....

Mettre par exemple "gestion des flux chargés et déchargés", formulation relativement compréhensible même pour un non spécialiste des transports et assez vague pour couvrit tous les cas évoqués par les experts.

I totally agree with your comments Sheila.I think the word "ramp" could indicate a ramp structure, like, for example, independent rolls for unloading a truck to a warehouse, which can also manage the flow of goods to a carousel, also for example.You can access a loading dock with a ramp built into the dock but I'm not sure that term would be appropriate in this case.

Le contexte inclut-il la gestion du fret dans les aéroports? Si oui, "ramp" peut signifier "l'aire de trafic". La "gestion des rampes de chargements", ça n'a pas beaucoup de sens.

c'est bien le terme "ramp" qui me dérange ici. Mais comme je l'ai dit plus bas, je me demande si la proposition "quai de chargement / déchargement" n'est pas réservée au secteur maritime ?

I would imagine this is flow management but specifically concerning that bottleneck area of goods coming in from lorries. A delivery yard will normally have just one or a few ramps where lorries back up to for transfer of goods into the factory/warehouse. If one lorry can offload multiple goods types, then this makes best use of the ramp.
