heater to service. (This procedure will prevent the heating elements from burning
out).

neutral  Tony M: It's not really 'reconnect', it doesn't seem as if the wiring has been removed, this is simply 'turn the switch back on' (in the UK, most immersion heaters have a separate, local switch) / Yes, but as I pointed out, this is NOT the norm in the UK.
