a multicore-t én inkább többeres kábelnek fordítanám
a snake wire sodrott/sodort huzalt jelent
és akkor itt van még a kábelköteg is....

A lényeg hogy egy közös külső burkolatban több, eltérő célú vezeték fut....

Például egy koncerten a színpadtól a hangosításig vezető kábel rengetek vezetéket tartalmaz. Nem utolsó szempont azok burkolása, védelme sem.
