agree  784512 (X): Agree, but not to "did a version upgrade"... "carried out a version upgrade" or "upgraded the version to ..." / Indeed. It sounded strange but there you go, Google backs you up. I think people just say upgraded as a verb most often, though?

  -> Funny that at Google you can find over 10,000 hits for "do a version upgrade". I hear and read just that very, very often!/I'd still stick with the noun combo, especially for the headline.
