English translation: EPFC lifelong learning institute

French term or phrase: EPFC
I am translating a Belgian certificate of achievement for a course obtained through the EPFC. I know in French, this is 'Enseignement de Promotion et de Formation Continue' - can anyone help me with an English translation of this please? And should I leave it in the French (it is the heading of the document), translate into English, or put the English in brackets?

My English translation would be 'Promotional Education and Continued Training'.

Explanation:
You need to keep the acronym, or the full name if that's what is on the original. Then you need to tell your reader what it is, hence the words (which are NOT capitalised) "lifelong training institute".

There are other possibilities but I think this is the one that's the most common at the moment.

As I say in my response to CC, "adult education institute" used to be the term but most education sites today seem to prefer "lifelong learning". Either could be used here.

As for "continuing education institute", it does depend on the readership. There are certainly a lot of hits over the web in general, but if you restrict your search to .uk sites then you only get 185 hits for it, with 5380 for "lifelong learning institute".
