ako govorimo o telefonskog broja, s kojeg se kasnije spaja na osobu koja nam je potrebna, onda govorimo o switchboard. u novije vrijeme, to su attendant console ili auto-attendant, tj. obicno govorna poruka pa se odabire broj lokala koji zelimo ili nula/jedinica za operatera.

customer service, po mom misljenju, je nesto drugo. funkcionira na istom principu, dakle moze govorna poruka, moze operater, ali ima drugu najmjenu.

namjena centrale jeste samo za telefonske pozive, tj. usmjeravanje veceg broja linija kroz jedan "aparat" kako bi se izbjeglo cekanje, zauzece i slicno...

da dodam, razlika izmedju ovo troje je u slijedecem:

switchboard je stariji model, na njoj se uvijek javlja operater i on prebacuje na zeljeni lokal putem veceg aparata, to kod nas jos postoji rijetko gdje.

auto-attendant je automatska centrala, dakle ona sa govornom porukom i nulom za operatera.

attendant console je telefon na koji se javlja operater i on/a prebacuje na lokal. te se obicno koriste u manjim firmama za do 15 lokala ili tako nesto.
