current affairs (production) control room Explanation: Well, if it refers to something physical, then it may well be the control room (gallery, in BBC jargon), or more properly 'production control room' (though it might equally well be 'sound/lighting/engineering control room') It sounds to me as if there is a current affairs control room + an outside one — whether this is referring to an OB van that can be parked outside to give extra control facilities, as is sometimes done by smaller production companies, I can't really say... but maybe this will give you something to work from, and if you can find any more clues for us from the rest of your context, then I might be able to help a bit more. It might well, indeed, be 'current affairs control room' — but more context would be needed to be sure about this; can you find a website for this company, which maylmist their facilities? I originally read the 'actu' as being the same as the 'actuelles' immediately preceding it, but on reflection, I think I was wrong to assume that. |
