Swedish term or phrase: insteg
The document contains instructions for how to register "insteg" electronically (complete with screenshots). The Swedish doesn't feel quite right in a number of places, so I wonder if insteg could somehow be the wrong word here in the source text. There is a tight deadline so there isn't really time to ask the client. I though it actually meant "inträde", but some of the contexts don't support that. Here are some of the contexts:

Thanks for trying to help everyone. I basically had done what Thomas suggested, and the client never answered with any comments. I am giving you the points for trying to help earlier and I am not making any glossary entries since the source term is surely incorrect.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thanks George. That sounds like a good idea. The one part that baffles me though is this: "men det kommer tydligt att framgå att det är ett insteg och inte en försäkring". Seems hard to make sense of with access. Any ideas?

Explanation:
Pure guess. Swedish "insteg" suggests it is something introductory ("in-") that allows for some sort of access ("-steg"); but I have no idea in what sense.

In any event, I suggest you decide on a translation and then explicitly indicate your translation/interpretation of this term in your email message to the client when you deliver the translation. If you are wrong, they will get back to you with an explanation and give you time to amend your translation.
