In the system described in your webref, there is no 'power signal'. It is nothing more than a 'phantom power' system used to carry DC power between sub-systems, in the same way as condenser microphones have been powered for the past 95 years.
By definition, a 'signal' must convey 'information' (or 'data', if you prefer). A power connection - whether DC orAC, nanowatts or gigawatts - conveys only energy and thus falls outside the concept of a 'signal'.

Firstly, thanks for your comment, but my question and doubt at the same time is how can I translated "para señales de potencia "

Then I proposed a translation and I wanted to know if "it" makes sense in English.

I know the basics and all the formulas on how scientistics get to the energy formula. But I'm affraid that it does not apply in this context.

I've spent some time researching this as I also work in this field. It also happens that I have this translation in one of my glossaries, but I don't know where I got it from.
I found this to be quite interesting:
"Energy and Power are properties of a signal. They will not be functions of time. My book defines Energy as the integral from -infinity to infinity of the square of the signal. To get power, you square the signal, integrate from -T/2 to T/2, multiply by 1/T, and finally find the limit of that as T->infinity. (All integrals are with respect to time.) This should all be in your text, too.

I'm guessing your question relates to recognizing if a given signal has finite Energy or Power. For a signal to have finite Energy, it must go to 0 as t->infinity. For a signal to have finite Power, it must be "periodic or have statistical regularity." If your signal is sinusoidal, it is periodic and therfore has finite Power. If your signal is a decaying exponential, it tends to 0 and therefore has finite Energy. These are just examples of signals that have these properties."

The expression 'power signals' is meaningless to me, unless the source text has defined that expression to give it a specific interpretation, valid only in the context of your document.
Source: 50+ years playing with electricity, most of that time as a qualified professional.

Actually both terms apply to different contexts.

My question here is about "señales de potencia"

What I mean is, can I translate it as explosion-proof conduits for electric wiring for power signals???

And that's why I asked to the experts in electricity and so if it makes sense.
