eye-catching products / loss leaders Explanation: "Eye-catching products" strikes me as a good umbrella term for products that, for whatever reason, catch the attention of passersby and draw them into the store. See page 10 of the following PDF: http://www.modasaloninteriors.com/pdf/september.pdf "Loss leaders" would be a good way to describe products that are deeply discounted (to the point of generating a loss for the store) in order to draw people in and get them to buy products with higher profit margins.
