Spanish term or phrase: acudir a la Oferta pública
Hello, friends, I just can't come up with a decent translation for "acudir a la Oferta"... I tried "approach".
The context of these terms is found in an authorization document of a client, of which I cpied the following phrase. Please help...

"Conozco y acepto que el Banco acude a la Oferta Pública en representación de varios clientes"

Thanx in advance.

Si se trata de oferta pública de valores, es "public offering", como dice Alicia Orfalian.

Te faltó aclararnos el contexto :)

Acudir = presentarse, pero en este contexto se traduce "participate/take part"

neutral  María Eugenia Wachtendorff: David, I looks like someone is giving a bank power of attorney or authorization to purchase securities. I have seen quite a few of those documents, and the idea is that the client cannot expect exclusive service :)

Subscribe for the public offering....

Explanation:
I was thinking the same as John Rynne and thus did not answer the question. It is vital to know just what type of oferta it is. From the added context it appears to be a public offering however rather than a takeover bid.
