Es geht um die Herstellung einer Teilprothese im Unterkiefer, bei der eine Registrierbasis aus lichthärtendem Kunststoff verwendet wird. Da ich nicht unbedingt im Besonderen auf Zahnmedizin spezialisiert bin, brauche ich ein wenig Hilfe, denn ich habe beim besten Willen keine Assoziation mit "box rim" und ich finde nichts unter "box" und "palate" oder "denture" etc...

To initiate the prosthodontic rehabilitation, a final impression
was taken using a VPS material and a disposable tray with locator analogs in place.
*Putty VPS was placed in the palate to create a box rim analog.*
The master cast was poured using a fast setting gypsum
composite. The boundaries of the record base were marked on the model, after block out was accomplished using a contrast-colored
modeling compound .
