Spanish term or phrase: Días de asuntos personales
Hi there,

The full sentence is "ya que aún me quedan días de asuntos personales".

I can't think of the UK equivalent, if there is one, for this term. Within my context (a character using this time for a day off after a concert), "compassionate leave" hardly seems appropriate. I have seen that "small necessities leave" exists in the US, but have never heard of it in the UK. I am considering simply using "holiday", but wondered if there is some other more specific option.

Thanks

agree  Charles Davis: Yes. Commoner in US, but well established usage in UK too. "Floating holidays" are not quite the same thing, in theory? This is not personal leave, which is ad hoc, but a statutory entitlement of X days p.a.
