German term or phrase: Abdeckhaube
Hier handelt es sich um eine durchsichtige Plastikhaube, die den Arbeitsbereich als Schutzvorrichtung sichert. Größe etwa 1 m x 1 m.

Bisher habe ich nur "copertura", was aber diese "Haube" nicht richtig ausdrückt.

"Haube" wuerde ich hier mit "schermo" uebersetzen. Und entsprechend moechte ich dir die folgenden Vorschlaege fuer "Abdeckhaube" unterbreiten: "schermo di protezione", "schermo protettivo", "schermo di copertura". Ich wuerde ihn letztlich unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Funktion dieser Haube auswaehlen, also ob sie ausschliesslich den Arbeitsbereich abdeckt oder ihn in irgendeiner Form - beispielsweise auch vor Staub - schuetzen soll.

Asker: Schermo kann wohl alles sein - denke ich - auch eine Lichtschranke oder so. Mir geht es hier prinzipiell um den Begriff "Haube" (Deckel ist flach - copertura würde hier passen. Es handelt sich hier aber um die dreidimensionale Plastik-copertura. Come si chiama?

"cupola" renderebbe il concetto di tridimensionalità di cui parli. Altrimenti, userei semplicemente "copertura".
