претензия, принятая по истечении гарантийного срока Explanation: In the auto business, manufacturers will sometimes honor a warranty claim even if the warranty has expired, or didn't cover the problem. They do this as a matter of "goodwill" -- not because they have to (or don't think they have to), but because they want to keep the customer happy -- especially if it involves an expensive car. An example: let's say your transmission is warrantied for five years or 50,000 miles, and yours breaks at five years and five days, with only 45,000 miles.
