Compreendo a sua posição. Falei com varios amigos ingleses e todos mostraram a mesma opinião de que o melhor, neste caso, será deixar apenas "almost a crime" eliminando o "lese magesty" que realmente não é muito usado em Inglaterra ou nos Estados Unidos

I think these possibilities sound more natural to my English ear.

I think you could get away with your suggestion of "unforgiveable" here too.
