musical snapshot, photographic study in music Explanation: Depending on the "depth" of the initiative. moments fugitifs and instants suggest a few notes, but any piece of music is going to be a reasonable length. If it's clear that the "photographic study" is made up of a series of instantaneous "snapshots", then "snapshots" might work, but a single, profound photo - a photographic study - will take a lot of thought and preparation, and even if it takes a hundred shots to get the desired result, they are not "snapshots". |
