Whether you choose Zoubida's translation or mine, you would need to add an explanation of what a "gift card" means in the culture you are translating from, given that بطاقة هدية , as it is known in the Arab world, actually means "greeting card". While gift cards, in the UK for instance, are issued by both banks and retailers, in some Arab countries they are a new financial product (and thus a new phenomenon) that is only provided by banks in countries such as UAE and Egypt (as far as I could ascertain).
