"of which" note/sub-item Explanation: The term "of which" note or sub-item is perfectly OK, see e.g. Deutsches Bilanzrecht/German Accounting Legislation, 4th edition IDW-Verlag 2006. Odd that these have been left untranslated - is that deliberate? You'll find English translations of (almost) all standard HGB/German GAAP financial statement line items here: http://www.abra-search.com/ABRASearch.html?locale=de&taxonom... (post-BilMoG) and http://www.abra-search.com/ABRASearch.html?locale=de&taxonom... (pre-BilMoG) One thing, though: "footnotes" is another way of saying the "notes to the financial statements" (and in fact the term originally used, and now far less common), i.e. the "Anhang". This is something entirely different to the "davon"-Vermerke on the face of the balance sheet and income statement. You'll also find "thereof" note/sub-item, but that's now deprecated because this word is pretty archaic legalese. |
