A three-tiered approach will be used to prioritize each requirement. The method to be used is:
(1) Must have – A physician selection criterion and/or regulatory requirement to market the device. Could also be an element that could cause the product to be selected out, even though it is not a top physician selection criterion.
(2) Standard – Not a top physician selection criterion, but something the customers have come to expect (industry standard / expectation) that will help the product be competitive in the market.
(3) Delight – low physician selection criterion, but may provide a competitive advantage if able to be incorporated (nice-to-have feature); potentially exceeds customer expectations.
