Explanation: I understand the lecturer is a man speaking about relationships and he mentions he is glad his wife is not there because she would object his approach or view of the situations. So, I believe he is trying to imply she would object his opinion on the basis that he is a man and will see things from a masculine perspective and not as women see them. |

Yo lo leo como que viene de "guys will be guys", como que la forma de actuar (instintiva, automática?) de los hombres es diferente a la de las mujeres, y no se caracterizan (en forma genérica, por favor no se ofendan mis amigos que puedan leer esto...!!!) por su habilidad para la intimidad de las relaciones. Como que son más torpes... no que sean niños, sino que ese aspecto de su psicología está menos desarrollado. Está diciendo que a pesar de todo el "mindfulness practice" que él enseña, si la esposa estuviera entre el público tal vez diría que él igual sigue actuando como cualquier otro hombre. |
