neutral  Anja C.: war auch mein erster Gedanke im Satzkontext, entspricht aber nicht dem Sinn hier – es sei denn, der AT ist unpräzis formuliert / genau; fragt sich, ob die Wortwahl bewusst oder unglücklich ist...

  -> Ja, ist schwierig, Anja. Dem Sinn entspricht es meiner Meinung nach schon, nur nicht 100%-ig der Wortwahl im Französischen.
