Fondamentalement, pour les dirigeants européens la crise apparaît comme le moment privilégié où l’on réfléchit à de nouvelles solutions et surtout où l’on réfléchit en profondeur sur les leviers de compétitivité de l’entreprise et où l’on essaie de répondre à la question suivante : dans un environnement durablement affecté, qu’est-ce qui permettra à mon entreprise de retrouver le chemin de la croissance ? La lecture de la presse économique ferait facilement penser que les entreprises n’ont qu’une obsession : la chasse aux coûts. Or, c’est loin d’être le cas et on constate que pour beaucoup d’entreprises une des priorités est entre autres de mieux valoriser le capital humain, capital perçu comme une des clés du renouveau des entreprises. Là aussi, la crise agit comme un révélateur : face à des contraintes de toute sorte, il s’agit de mieux valoriser et ce à tous les niveaux : qualité de services, renforcement des compétences clés, qualité du recrutement, de la formation, capacité à innover, etc.
