Spanish term or phrase: en cata
- Columna litoestratigráfica ""en cata"" o excavación
- talude escavado en ""cata""

Cata ou catear significa explorar, fazer o reconhecimento de um terreno. Mas, esta expressão, que eu traduziria justo por escavar/escavação, está me confundindo.

Algum geológo de plantão?
