Besides, I also do not understand the preposition "with". Should it be "in"?

neutral  Catharine Cellier-Smart: "Fossil" by Stark doesn't get any G-hits, don't know if "Starck with Fossils" is meant to be but it gets a handful of g-hits. Disappearance may not be the best translation of disparition here, maybe why original translator of the text left "disparition"

The phrase "by proposing the minimum in the way of 'disparition'"makes little sense in English, so I suggest:

"by offering a minimalism that verges on disappearance/invisibility".

The Veiled Watch is an impressive design feat for a watch as it barely looks like a functioning timepiece with the almost invisible hands ticking away on the stainless steel band..
