I've been looking at the previous Proz entries on this word, but here I had understood this to mean "Putting the information into their computer systems". Would appreciate your takes on this.

The text is from Spain and I am translating into British English.

Thank you.

My cats are still celebrating Barca's victory and trying to explain the offside rule to me...only cricket is left to me now...

to put in order / classify

Explanation:
A very difficult verb to always get right. It essentially means to put order or method on what was disordered or where there was no structure. At times, even to regulate or to plan out [something].

Our American cousins have been known to use "to methodize/systematize"

to catalogue

Explanation:
Seems like a suitable alternative to "systematize", which I'm not keen on. Wiktionary gives for "catalogue" the noun "a systematic list of names, books, etc". And for "catalogue" the verb, "to make a catalogue of", "to put into a catalogue" and "to add items to an existing catalogue".

Best of luck with it )
