rücken Brillanten in den Vordergrund brilliants predominate Explanation: A brilliant is a particular cut of diamond or other gemstone. "In den Vordergrund rücken" means "come to the fore", so I suggest: "...or brilliants or large pearls predominate". The question should really be "rücken Brillanten in den Vordergrund", as "rücken" doesn't have any meaning on its own. Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brilliant_(diamond_cut) |

etw. besonders in den Vordergrund rücken to particularly feature sth. Explanation: The infinitive you're looking for is, as others have already pointed out, "etwas besonders in den Vordergrund rücken". I feel that "predominate" might have a slightly negative connotation, but I'm not sure here. "Particularly feature" is what came to my mind... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 56 Min.
