awarded accademic essays Explanation: "premiati" is the past participle of "premiare" which I would translate as "awarded" or "prized" as a synonim. I reckon "awarded" stands for aknowledged, but it may depend on the context. Regards. Roberto |

portraits of the award-winning academicians Explanation: I'm guessing slightly as to what your context is but I suspect this is what is meant. In this case "saggio" doesn't mean a critical essay but a "wise person" or "sage" and "accademico" means "member of a learnéd academy". |
