Can anyone help with this one? I can't work out if it's a visit on foot equipped with a handheld GPS or if it means a car with GPS?

Without more context it's very hard to say Lisa. But "en GPS", if it is to be distinguished from "à pied", must be a different method of transport... But I have left it ambiguous in English too - rather than "improving" on the original!

I would perhaps also put in "Sat Nav GPS", because nowadays, one does not have to be in a car to use GPS. It can be on your PDA or handleld PC.
