national school for regional training (école nationale à vocation régionale) Explanation: Hello, Perhaps translate it like this and put the actual French term in parentheses just for clarity. I'm not sure exacly what a "école nationale" is and if we have an exact equivalent in English-speaking countries. Maybe it's best to stick the word "training" in the English translaton à vocation régionale = regional (intended for "regional" purposes) to delocalize the training of African officers from France to Africa by creating regional training schools (ecoles nationales a vocation regionale. ... books.google.com/books?isbn=0415318580...
