condamnare prin procedura restransa
Explanation:
summary conviction=summary (proceedings)conviction
a) infractiuni foarte grave („very serious offences").
b) infractiuni grave („summary offences"), cum ar fi: furtul, furtul prin efractie, ranirile premeditate etc;
c) infractiuni minore („either way offences")

In Canada, the things are like this:
“Canada, contrary to the United States, did not retain the common distinction between misdemeanours and felonies and, instead, crimes in Canada are classified as either indictable offences or offences punishable on summary conviction”
"All summary conviction offences must be tried in what the Canadian Criminal Code, at §785, defines as summary conviction court, usually a lower-level court such as a provincial court, as opposed to a higher court, such as a Supreme or Court of Queen's bench court.
Justice Salhany writes:
"A summary conviction court is generally composed of a provincial court judge or justice of the peace sitting alone ...."
http://duhaime.org/LegalDictionary/S/Summaryconvictionoffenc...

In USA :
"there are certain minor or petty offenses that may be proceeded against summarily, and without a jury" and which are codified in 18 U.S.C. § 19. Any crime punishable by more than six months imprisonment must have some means for a jury trial. Contempt of court is considered a prerogative of the court, as "the requirement of a jury does not apply to 'contempts committed in disobedience of any lawful writ, process, order, rule, decree, or command entered in any suit or action brought or prosecuted in the name of, or on behalf of, the United States."
"Some states (Virginia) provide that in all offenses must at some point grant to the defendant a jury trial if they request it, meaning that one could obtain a jury trial in some states even for a parking ticket"

Explanation:
Nu e contraventie :

A summary offence, also known as a petty crime, is a criminal act in some common law jurisdictions that can be proceeded with summarily, without the right to a jury trial and/or indictment (required for an indictable offence).
