We might have to agree to disagree on this one ;-) Have you read Johaina's discussion entry below, which provides additional information to her original request ? While I agree that 'déplacement' could normally refer to new address, in the context of an 'ordre de mission' (which could only be for a few hours or days) 'new address' could be erroneous. I think that 'assignment location' is clear to an English speaker and covers the possibility of both short and long term assignments, as we don't know which is the case here.

From the translation point of view it does not change anything, Catharine. It still signifies the new place of address. Sometimes we have to go with it sounds clearer to an English speaking world even if it sounds too simple. Cheers.

A new address doesn't apply if the ordre de mission is only for a couple of hours or a couple of days.

An ordre de mission for a teacher can be very variable in length - anything from less than a day to several years. (And in some cases the ordre de mission may not even be to teach).

pour enregistrer les caractériqtiques d'un ordre de mission , il fault décrire tous les détails type, date de départ, objet, y inclus le lieu de déplacement.
