French term or phrase: acoustique architecturale
This term was taken from the biography of a sound engineer who is also a musician and a composer, it reads: "Il continue également sa grande passion pour l’électronique et l’acoustique architecturale et développe plusieurs circuits analogiques dans le domaine de l’audio professionnel." I am not sure if it can be translated literally and if not , of what would be the best option i in english

neutral  David Vaughn: Architectural is certainly a subdivision of acoustics, while "fundamental" are the basic principles of acoustics in general, including but not at all limited to architectural elements.
