It was very interesting for me to discover that the word "daypart" actually exists (Thank you, Johanna!) and is in use at least in certain parts of the world.

However, in the translation surely "während des ganzen Tages" or "den ganzen Tag über" would suffice. Damit drückt man aus, dass die frischen Backwaren eben ständig (ein anderes Wort für "throughout") verfügbar waren und damit den Kunden ein schönes Eßerlebnis beschert haben (das ist keine Übersetzung, es klingt doch etwas ironisch!).
Den Tag in der Bäckerei muss man doch nicht in Abschnitte einteilen, wie in Johannas Beispielen, oder?

Danke an Johanna für den eigentlichen Fachbegriff. Ich habe mich letztlich aber doch für diese Lösung entschieden, weil dies im Kontext besser passte und der Sinn auch klar war. Vielen Dank für die Hilfe!
