No Brasil também temos agências - ANEEL para energia elétrica, ANATEL para telecomunicações, por exemplo - e elas são reguladoras, isto é, tem uma função de regular o funcionamento das empresas que prestam serviços públicos. Elas podem inclusive aplicar multas e outras penalidades às empresas. Seria o caso de verificar do que se trata no país de origem, confforme seu sistema
