Norwegian (Bokmal) term or phrase: grejt nok
"Pröv då, men det är grejt nok"

This is a Norwegian speaker but the text has been (partially) transcribed in Swedish (I'm a Swedish translator). However, I don't understand the phrase "grejt nok" - it comes up a couple of times referring to the quality of fishing tackle. Any suggestions?

Explanation:
-I would suggest fish for dinner
-All right (greit nok), replies the other.

-Seks millioner jøder ble drept under andre verdenskrig!
-Ja, det er greit nok, men trenger de et eget land for det?
Here, "greit nok" means "sant nok" - true. It does not mean that the killing of six million Jews are all right.

-Ser dette bra ut?
-Ja, dette er greit nok (dette er i orden).
Here, "greit nok" means good enough, all right, acceptable, usable, well done, well made, as it should be, going to work just fine...

easy enough

Explanation:
"grei" > "easy" or "straightforward. Appending "nok" makes it a common Norwegian phrase: "--- enough".

Could also be "good enough" -- can you provide some more context?

Yes, if he's checking a knot for instance, the phrase "good enough" would be appropriate, especially if there were a hint of male-to-male rivalry over rigging technique. :-)

Notes to answerer
Asker: I think it might be "good enough". A guy is checking some fishing equipment for his friend, and commenting, "Detta aer grejt nok."

Asker: That's exactly the context - male rivalry dressed up as bonding on a fishing trip! Thanks

disagree  Eivik: If you ask me, "easy" "enough" is not correct here, since "greit" means "ok" and not "easy"
