Portuguese term or phrase: Oficial AND Escrevente Juramentado
My problem is, I'm translating a birth certficate, and at the bottom it says "O OFICIAL_________________" and has the signature line. Then underneath the signature line it has the name of the person who signed it and then under his typed name it says "ESCREVENTE JURAMENTADO". Does that mean that this person is both of those things?

These are two different jobs right?
