  -> It certainly would: that'll teach me to translate what I think I've read rather than the actual words!!! Though as Liz says, it could be a mistake. With the extra context, however, this seems unlikely. Bon courage à tous! ;)

Advised could stand for "avisé"s which is not the way I understand the French term.
