Italian term or phrase: conseguire la specializzazione
I'm translating a series of CVs of people associated with a clinical research study. In two of them so far I have come across the expression "...ha conseguito le specializzazioni in ..."

One person " ... ha conseguito le specializzazioni in Anatomia Patologica e in Medicina Legale..."

Another one " ... ha conseguito le specializzazioni in Anatomia e Istologia Patologica, e in Igiene ..."

I'm tempted to say "specialized in ..." but then we have the word "conseguire" which means that they obtained or received something.

How can I translate this expression? (5 more CVs to do).

Grazie 1,000 per l'aiuto!
