11.- Press top once to ensure food is on the grating board when slice forward. Release when backward.

andiamoci cauti. Se si tratta di macchinario super mega-galattico- computerizzato - che cerca solo un termine per il software- fatemi seppelire.
Se invece è come penso io- che si tratta semplicemente delle istruzioni per un affettatrice senza tanti fronzoli- è la placca laterale, che serve a spingere l'insaccato verso la lama principale. E lì poi lo tagli a piacere tuo- a cubetti- a fettine, dipende dagli aggeggi precedentemente montati

dato che non c'è una foto- che ci renderebbe la vita tanto più facile- l'unica modifica che mi sento di fare è che la placca per la pressione - che senza quella qualunque cosa introduci non avanza- possano averla messsa in alto anziché laterale. Mi ricordo mio padre che ci metteva le cipolle a kg per preparare le quiches salate. "purtuttavia"- come si dice- anche i macellai che frequento ancora usano quella a pressione laterale.
