I am translating a Swiss legal document involving the term **** Domizilhaltervertrag **** and simply cannot find this term (or Domizilhalter for that matter) anywhere. From various definitions of this term, I take it this is the legal entity assuming ownership of the legal residence of a business.

"Hat die juristische Person am Ort ihres statutarischen Sitzes keine "eigenen Büros", so muss im Handelsregister
aufgenommen werden, bei wem (Domizilhalter) sich an diesem Orte das Rechtsdomizil befindet (Art. 117
Abs. 3 HRegV). Als Domizilhalter in Betracht kommen natürliche und juristische Personen sowie Personenmehrheiten
ohne eigene Rechtspersönlichkeit, die im Rechtsverkehr jedoch unter eigener Firma auftreten können,
d.h. Kollektiv- und Kommanditgesellschaften. Eine einfache Gesellschaft kann nicht Domizilhalter sein. Mit
der Anmeldung der Gründung oder Adressänderung ist eine Erklärung des Domizilhalters einzureichen, dass

Does anyone know the US term for this? I thought about "registered owner" but I don't think it expresses this relationship accurately. Thank you for your help.

Asker: Could it really be this simple? "Domicile holder" only produces 199 Google hits, which makes me wonder if there isn't another term more commonly used in the US. Maybe not, though.
