agree  Zofia Wislocka: SuperseDes - do poprawki w temacie. Zastepuje ale nie amendment, tylko Umowa. Prawdopodobnie ktos zrobil blad w copy + paste. Trzeba sprawdzic ze zleceniodawcą :)

disagree  Polangmar: Moim zdaniem tu jednak trzeba dopracować oryginał - przy "bezpośrednim" przekładzie wyjdzie, że to poprawka zastępuje inne umowy. Oryginał jest tylko niejasny - dosłowne tłumaczenie byłoby mylące ze względu na odmianę rzeczownika "umowa" (poprawka umowy).

disagree  herbatnik: trop skrótu myśw umowach nie ma miejsca na niedopowiedzenia. "Zastępuje poprzednie umowy " - tak. Ale już "unless agreed by either party", to już zbyt dalekie dopowiedzenie, więc myśle, że tej umowy po prostu nie można stronom zmieniać

Żeby uniknąć tej dwuznaczności w języku polskim, proponuję zróżnicować w tłumaczeniu rodzaj gramatyczny rzeczowników "amendment" i "agreement", np. poprawka i porozumienie, lub powtórzyć słowo "umowa" (i/a niniejsza/ta umowa zastępuje wszystkie/wszelkie wcześniejsze/poprzednie umowy).
