I think the other answerers may have parsed the sentence incorrectly. I think it's more along the lines of subject to more express, or more specific reserves (or however you want to phrase it), with respect to use (usage), hidden defect or any other.....

Sorry, of course substitute clause for reserve - typing too fast. The focus though is whether customary or usage is the correct interpretation
