English term or phrase: stepping
Si parla dei punti di forza di un grosso produttore di impianti fotovoltaici. Ecco la frase "The five-watt model stepping ensures the highest system efficiency and eliminates the time-consuming task of sorting the modules on site." C'è un'altra frase quasi identica dove compare "model steps", presumo sia un sinonimo, qualcuno conosce il significato di "model stepping"?? Grazie a tutti!

in questo caso si usa il termine livelli anche se si dovrebbe lasciare il termine tecnico model stepping
Il termine veniva già usato ain informatica per determinare i vari gradi di efficienza dei processori delle CPU. Di solito si usano per descrivere le varie fasi di un processo che rendono l'oggetto modulare e non monofase
