Chinese term or phrase: 視乎發生事件而定
How should this phrase be translated. It is in the text of an Informed Consent Form for a medical trial. The full context of the sentence is: "補償將依據研究執行地的國家或地區補償計劃原則進行並視乎發生事件而定."

is decided/determined depending on the incident
Explanation:
is decided/determined depending on the incident (that took place/happened)

發生事件 - incident that took place/happened, but in my opinion, without 'that took place/happened' makes the translation more smooth and it still makes sense in the context.
