ripstop Explanation: Ripstop nylon of nylon ripstop: deze Engelse benamingen worden door Nederlandse fabrikanten van nylon materialen veelvuldig gebruikt. Ik weet alleen niet zeker of "ripstop" een specifieke (of zelfs gepatenteerde) weefmethode is, dan wel een algemene benaming voor stoffen die scheurbestendig zijn.
