Olá.
Em aviões onde a carga é paletizada e arrumada por efeitos de um sistema semi-automático/automático de carga, existe geralmente um espaço por trás do porão traseiro(que, pelo seu formato geométrico não comporta uma palete standard) que comporta items não paletizados e também tradicionalmente o transporte de animais de companhia, pintos, etc... Pode acontecer que o avião (todo ele) seja carregado a granel (ex.: B737). Nesse caso o avião só tem 2 porões, FWD e AFT (uma vez que o porão AFT é todo ele carregado a granel). Se o avião for paletizado ele tem FWD, AFT e BULK.
É capaz de postar uma frase um pouco maior para se perceber concretamente o contexto? A aviação é um território muito hermético.
