Is this a collective term for fruit with cores? If so, can I say "apples and pears", or are there any other fruits in this category?

I remain unconvinced by "corestock", which I found in the www.volny.cz dictionary. "Core stock" may refer to core crops or livestock (i.e. not "core" as in "apple core").
Likewise, "kernelled fruit", which I found in Poldauf, is a confusing, ambiguous term. I would use the word "kernel" mainly for the edible part of nuts.

Thank you. I've noticed how often jádroviny and peckoviny are contrasted: I take these to be pomes and drupes.

Asker: There's the kernel that you eat, and the core that you chuck away... I'm not sure about "corestock": it may have various technical meanings that I don't know.

Asker: You know why I'm asking this question? It's because I think none of the dictionaries/glossaries I've come across have got it right. When I google for images of jádroviny, I find mainly apples, and some pears.

Asker: Thanks. This looks like a good match for "jádroviny" as used here - and it's borne out by Radovan's link too.

Asker: Well, I'm learning all the time: pyracantha (firethorn), for example, has "berry-like pomes".

That is basic definition and classification of fruit.

pomes - malvice (jablko, hruska and more)

Dylan, malvice patria do kategorie - jadroviny ako aj kostkovice, bobule atd. Patri tam ovsem ovela viac ovocia a nielen malvice, ale aj pomarance a to nie je malvica.

Asker: Thank you for bringing the word malvice to my attention. A couple of Slovak sources seem to treat it as a synonym of jadroviny: malvice (jadroviny) - jablko, hruška, dula, jarabina a mišpuľa,. b) kóstkovice (kôstkoviny) - čerešňa, višňa, marhuľa, broskyňa, mandľa, slivka, sliva, ... www.tormas.sk/index.php/Pestovanie-ovocia/.../Page-2.html
