gunnery hall Explanation: The artillery corps talk about “gunnery hall” for the flak shooting pieces and “dome anti-aircraft trainer” fot "upwards" shooting, but the latter is exclusively a training facility. The gunnery hall in a field regiment was sometimes used for training the gun crews with the spin-off of getting the guns regularly cleaned, checked and oiled for storage. However, neither really fits the description of being both proper storage and training facility. |
