This is a complicated way of saying that any overtime or possibly travel time (big issue in our corporate policy...) will not be paid due to the "generous" salary. I prefer to call a spade a spade. Also in the business world these are the the usual terms. I'd go with additional hours as that would also include e.g. time spent traveling.

neutral  Birgit Gläser: Googling this, I found it is more used in the academic world where additional duties are probably additional courses/classes. I would not use it in a corporate setting as addtional duties do not necessarily mean overtime, but more responsibility.
